Krishna Kancharla, MD, is a cardiologist certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular diseases, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from Osmania Medical College, India. He completed his residency at Georgetown University Hospital/Medstar Washington Hospital, followed by his fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Kancharla's clinical interests include medical and catheter ablation-based management of heart rhythm conditions. Dr. Kancharla's interests also include the management of patients with slow heart rhythms and heart failure utilizing cardiac devices such as a defibrillator, pacemaker, and the His bundle type pacemaker.
