About Dr. Samuel Kolman, MD
Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: As an undergraduate engineering major, my plan throughout most of college had been to one day work designing and developing new technologies that interface with the human body. When I started working with patients in my last year of college, I realized my true calling was on the clinical side of medicine, not on the research or industry side. Naturally, I chose a field that allowed me to bridge my engineering background with medicine. What I want my patients to know about me: I believe that first and foremost, a doctor needs to listen to their patients. Every patient has a different story and different set of circumstances that need to be considered in the overall treatment plan.
