This facility deserves a 0 star rating. My nephew was being seen here for his heart issue. He has a stent from several years ago, but he was having pain, fatigue, dizziness and trouble breathing. They kept him in the hospital over a weekend and did nothing. They postponed a test for over a week, and ran 2 additional tests over the course of a month or so. They ran up a bill, but did nothing to fix his problem. He died 3 days ago at his home. I lay the blame squarely on the doctors who did not treat him as a priority patient, perhaps because he was a farmer and not some rich man with great health insurance.
The Doc and all the techs were excellent. Did me in short order, knew what was expected of them with great skill.
My husband went for his check up for a pacemaker put in last October. He has been seen by PJ once since the surgeon left the practice. He arrived 15 minutes early and was told he would have to reschedule as you have to be there 20 minutes before your appointment. So he has been to this office 2 times since last October and no one ever mentioned anything about being there earlier than 15 minutes. It is not stated on the appointment or the website? The girl checking him in was not on the right date and said," He was not scheduled." Once she realized she was wrong she asked the PJ if she could see him. She said, "No, he would have to reschedule." My complaint is he had just seen his regular doctor for a blood pressure issue. Medication was changed and he was seeing Cardiology soon so we were relieved that he was going to be seen. I am shocked that the PJ would not ask if he had a problem that needed attention. My husband was not late! There was no reason to reschedule in the first place. The gentleman behind him was also told the same thing. He was shocked and stated so. I am not sure what is going on at this office but obviously there is not anyone caring about the patient who has a heart issue. These patients are already worried about their health and to be turned away for no real reason is concerning. So hoping for other patients this office and doctors share their requirements for each appointment that is made. We decided we would find a new doctor who would be more compassionate in his care. Each person should be of value not just a number! Hoping that things improve for the better. Regards, Karen Kasper
Dr Virparia is extremely, knowledgeable, detail oriented, patient and compassionate. The one couldn't ask for a better doctor. His entire time is fantastic.
