About Dr. Sam A. Buffer, MD
Sam A. Buffer, Jr., MD, is a cardiologist certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease at the University of Pennsylvania Johns Hopkins University. His clinical interests include clinical cardiology and cardiac imaging. Dr. Buffer is board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He is a past recipient of the Excellence in Patient Experience Award. He is dedicated to providing quality cardiovascular care to his patients and educating medical students and training physicians.
