All the folks in the Cranberry Heart and Vascular office where I was transferring were just smashing. By shear luck I grabbed a cancellation with Dr. Sam Buffer, who is a legend around here and the number one patient recommended cardiologist in the region. He lived up to every bit of that superstardom. Who knew he was cardiology chair at 2 hospitals? He was one of the most "un-arrogant" doctors I've ever had the great fortune to find. Dr. Buffer was attentive, extremely thorough and thoughtful. I got everything I came for and more so and would highly recommend this doctor and this practice. He really REALLY listened and found relevant data in my thousands of pages of records to pull together a cardiac picture of a complex brand new patient. I think the only thing I would have changed would have been to refer me to an ongoing program for maintaining and improving cardiovascular health, given my complex medical situation. PA Jana Bishop was very personable and answered all my questions. She was definitely interested in my health and concerns. The checkup was good. I booked a new appointment with her for followup.
