The first time I saw Megan, I had a very good feeling about her and a good feeling, turned out to be true. Living with CHF for the past three years and struggling with fluid retention and numerous hospitalizations each year, she had a plan already for me. That plan is more than anyone else has offered in the past. She introduced me to a new medicine called FUROSCIX. It is a medical dispensing device that delivers 80 mg of a powerful diuretic over the course of five hours. I came on the market in 2022 but was not available to all CHF patients until August 2024. It's in the hopes that this will help keep patients like myself out of the hospital since oral diuretics, don't seem to be enough. She has been with me every step of the way she answers your portal messages right away, if you leave a message at the office, she calls you back same day, she has gone above and beyond for me. And I want to thank her for that. I think this will be a new lease on life because of Megan, so Megan, thank you very much.

Megan is definitely an asset to the team at UPMC. She listens to your questions and explains things in her way that is understandable to the patient. She seeks to look forward as what will continue to benefit the individual for health and well being.
