St. Clair Medical Group Cardiology

I was very disappointed with my experience. I went there to get and try diagnosis for pots and they wouldn't do the tilt table test and laughed in my face. I will not be going back. What a joke.

I called South Hills Cardiology to arrange an appointment with Dr. Shogry. Cathy answered the phone and told me that he had no appointments until May. I have a history of a-fib and needed to see him before May. I asked if Dr. Shogry would authorize a monitor for me to check the frequency of abnormal heart rhythm. Cathy quickly offered to help. She explained what needed to be done by her office. She said she would send a message to Dr. Shogry asking for the approval. She demonstrated not only an understanding of the options available to me, but showed a sincere desire to personally help. She represented South Hills Cardiology in a very positive manner. Great job, Cathy!

I can't speak about everyone in the group, but Dr. Liu is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He takes his time and explains everything you ask him in a knowledgeable and honest way. He has performed two surgeries on me and both went very smoothly. If you have atrial fribulation, Dr. Liu is the doctor to see.

This is not a practice that will do what it takes when a patient is looking for help or guidance. They are a stand-offish, pass the buck group that will not help. We had a recent situation and could not get a response from this office when our doctor was out of town. No one would commit to the help we needed to proceed with a necessary procedure in his absence.

I would recommend this practice but NOT Dr. Girid. He is crude, rude, and impolite. He does not take into consideration any of the issues that you are having not could he look me in the eye as he spoke. He talks to you like you are incompetent and talks down on you. Never going back there again. See ANY OTHER Dr. in this practice if you want a true Dr. to Patient relationship
