Oregon Heart Center PC: Raghu Kamineni MD

Dr Kamineni may be one of the rudest doctors I've ever encountered. Everytime I leave his office I feel dismissed and frustrated. He frequently ignores my symptoms, and his only real question is if I have had any episodes of syncope and if I say no then my condition "isn't that bad". After my last appointment I viewed the after visit notes and there were several inaccurate statements included in it that would have been easily avoided if he had actually paid attention to anything I was saying. Overall, his bedside manor is atrocious and I would not recommend him as a doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Kamini after experiencing heart issues my pcp was looking into. When I arrived at my appt I was met with about 20 or so unmasked people in the waiting/check in area. Me and my fiance are Covid cautious because it's a cardiovascular disease that is running rampant disabling millions of people due to the lack of masking and gov regulations on a global scale. We are the youngest people in this clinic, mind you wearing high quality respirators. I asked the secretary if the doctor and nurse would be able to put on a high quality mask (I had two individually wrapped 3m auras for them in my hands) for my appt. She went back and asked the doctor, after returning she told me that it went against their policy to wear masks from outside the clinic. I pleaded with her, explained how unsafe it is for me to be around anyone unmasked including herself. I asked why anyone wasn't wearing at least a surgical mask? Why isn't anyone wearing a mask to protect the most vulnerable population? She came back and told me that it was against policy to accept masks. Another man came out with her that time and we asked to see the "policy" in writing. They told me it wasn't a written policy. I asked them what am I supposed to do? I need to see someone about my heart? Why can't you put a mask on to protect disabled people? They told me I could leave. I did. I never even saw the doctor because they don't care about disabled people from the get go. I saw other reviews of this doctor on here saying he was rude, disrespectful and dismissive. I can say this is true without even having to speak to the man myself. Doctors who hold conservative views cannot provide adequate care because they ignore things that don't line up with their world view. Shame on this doctor and clinic for turning away a disabled person in need of medical care. This is extremely disappointing. I have been fighting for doctors to care about me and other disabled people for years and it's just one heartbreak after another. Why is it so hard for doctors to care about anyone but themselves? It reeks of greed and the misuse of power over at the Salem heart center. Do not go here if you care about your physical safety.

Dr. Kamenini is rude and doesn't seem to care about people. I had an echocardiogram and the results said I had mild pulmonary hypertension and mild concentric hypertrophy of left ventricle and Dr. Kamenini said everything was great and acted rude, disrespectful, and in a hurry to get out of talking to me about test results. Why does the test result in mychart say one thing and the doctor won't acknowledge what it said and refused to acknowledge me and my questions about the test result. My heart problems may be insignificant to him, but obviously it's something to me because I am having issues. This doctor refused to want to listen to me and treated me like I was a bother and it's no big deal. Why does he say something different or refuse to discuss it when I saw the results on mychart? UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. His staff is very rude and disrespectful to me and refused to acknowledge me as well. I recommend not going to this place if you have problems because they don't care. He only wanted to let me know that I have no issues with Covid. This was not about Covid. What a rude jerk.

I've been with this office for 10 years now. And I find their team of doctors to be some of the finest Cardiologist.
