Bringing your beloved animal to the emergency vet is scary. My girl jumped off the bed and had such a severe limp she could barely stand. When we walked in to Bridgetown we were greeted immediately with genuine concern and compassion from the staff. They were so patient and sweet to Abbey. She is a very challenging K9 when it comes to the vet. I really appreciated the transparency amongst the staff and assuring me the Abbey was absolutely in a safe and caring environment.
Dr. B was outstanding! She was so gentle hearted, caring and really good with answering my questions and how to care for my pup when we got home. I wish I could remember the names of all of the staff members I had the privilege to interact with. Every single one of them made me wholeheartedly trust them with my dog and made the whole experience feel a little less stressful.
To all the staff working on 11/8, thank you for taking the best care of us.

I called this morning because I went to Dove Lewis in Portland due to my cat having a bladder blockage (Monday night). I went to Dove Lewis a second time (Wednesday) because Leo wasn't well and I wanted to euthenise him and Dove Lewis said no due to him being ok in their eyes. Well this morning when I called I explained this to Bridgetown especially since I saw more blood in his urine. Bridgetown was compassionate, caring and listened to me. My concern was that my baby wasn't getting better and I couldn't see him suffer any longer. When I arrived the receptionist which she was beyond friendly asked if this was for Leo and I said yes, immidietly she took me to a room. They never judged me or said no to my wishes, even though my heart was torn they helped me through the process explained everything to me and proceeded with the procedure. They were gracious enough to waive the euthanasia fee and only charged me for cremating my baby. I am beyond thankful I found them, I wish I would of gone here in the first place. Thank you for everything you did for me you dont know how much this means to me. The decision to part ways with my boy was the most difficult especially on Thanksgiving.

I was referred to see an ophthalmologist when my dog had a non healing corneal ulcer. After calling multiple clinics near me that couldn't see us for weeks, I found Bridgetown. They were able to get us in in two days. The entire staff and Dr Lamkin were amazing. It took a solid month for our dog to heal and we felt taken care of the entire time. Dr Lamkin is knowledgeable and kind and her staff is the same. Dr Lamkin even called me late in the evening to share culture results. She advocated for our dog when we received confusing culture results and followed through on finding a solution for us. We are so glad we brought our dog in and we highly recommend them. If any eye issues arise with any of our animals we will gladly make the trek in to see Dr Lamkin and her incredible staff!

This is the hardest review I've ever had to write, but I also think it's one of the most important ones. My wife and I brought our beloved dog Poe here when he began to decline relatively suddenly. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated with the utmost respect and compassion. He was quickly triaged and cared for by Dr. Olivia Roth-Carter, who is among the best veterinarians we've ever worked with. She provided a high level of service, clearly communicated the diagnosis and options, and gave us plenty of time to make a decision. We didn't feel hurried or pressured throughout the day. When the time came to say goodbye, Poe crossed the rainbow bridge with dignity and in comfort, surrounded by love. We're so thankful for Bridgetown Emergency Veterinary for guiding us through one of the most difficult days of our lives. Needless to say, I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I can't say enough good things about this emergency vet hospital. Late at night, my dogs got into grapes, and I was absolutely terrified. I rushed them in, not knowing what to expect, and from the moment I arrived, everyone there was incredible.
My dogs are both high-anxiety, and one is reactive, but the staff listened to me and did everything they could to accommodate us. They made me feel heard, understood, and safe -- something I haven't always experienced at other vet clinics.
I was there for about five hours, and the entire time the team kept checking in on both me and my dogs. They treated my dogs with such genuine care and compassion, and they were just as kind to me. They even took the time to talk about my financial situation and helped in ways they could, without ever making me feel bad or pressured.
Every single person I interacted with -- from the techs to the vets -- was absolutely wonderful. When I returned the next day for follow-up bloodwork, it was the same experience all over again: warm, professional, and caring.
I'm honestly sitting here crying as I write this because it meant so much to be treated with such kindness during one of the most stressful experiences I've had as a pet owner. I'd love to see if they can become my regular vet because they're just that amazing.
