I went to the walk in clinic and was seen right away. The nurse was wonderful and Zina was incredible! Handled and explained everything to me and ordered tests and followed up after tests to make sure i understood everything. Her level of care reminds me of how doctors used to be...never rushed. taking time to listen, and most of all being comforting. From the receptionists to the cleanliness to the nurse and doctor and subsequent follow ups I give Sky Lakes a 10/10.

In 2022 I let Sky Lakes know in a formal complaint that Rick, the elderly nurse who does ultrasound guided IV placement, had an extreme tremor, causing a significant amount of avoidable pain for patients. In 2022 he took over an hour and a half to place a PICC line, typically a 30 minute procedure. His uncontrolled tremor also resulted in him dropping objects on the ground and then picking them back up without changing gloves or otherwise maintaining sterility. He refused assistance from another nurse (presumably embarrassed since he was all but physically incapable of performing his job) and was having myself, a family member, hold up equipment for him. I also reported Rick to the nursing licensure board at the time. The Sky Lakes grievance team was extremely compassionate and let me know that they had looked into the incident and saw that the record reflected exactly what I described. I trusted Sky Lakes, where I have had many great experiences, and assumed elderly nurse Rick would be removed from a position he is physically unable to perform. Imagine my surprise seeing him again in 2025, still experiencing a motor skills limitation that makes it almost impossible for him to perform the task he is employed to perform. I cannot imagine how many additional patients he has traumatized with incredibly lengthy and painful IV placements over the 3 years between when Sky Lakes let me know they were taking this issue very seriously and today. This is not the first time I have encountered an elderly provider at Sky Lakes who is no longer able to perform their job function. There appears to be some form of deep-seated institutional culture of management looking the other way when an employee is no longer physically or mentally suitable for their role. I am also submitting this as a grievance, but I have lost all faith in that process now that I have seen that Rick is still employed here.

Just wanted to post on the excellent care I receive at the SkyLakes Infusion Center. The staff sees to my needs really well. They are always cheerful and encouraging while being very professional and excellent in their work.

Worst ER treatment for my ailing mother who visited twice in a week for a medical concern that wasn't addressed due to their lack of specialists, and made worse by an unnecessary medication administered by IV. Calling the next day to follow up on her medication reaction and was told policy prevented them from answering my questions or calming our concerns and to return to the ER that sent us home with the same concerns the night before...I don't think so. I feel bad for the seriously ill who have no options in this town. The ER social worker was extremely helpful and the patient advocacy was also helpful with suggestions.

I've unfortunately been seen in a lot of ERs, and Sky Lakes is by far the worst. The staff seemed to forget about me. I went to use the restroom and it was another 20 minutes before a nurse came in to reattach the IV, pulse ox, EKG leads, and put up the seizure pads. The call button was broken and the staff was aware of the issue. The doctor put staples in my head without numbing the area first. Just walked into the room, told me was going to staple the cut on my head, stapled it, and walked out. No compassion or empathy. The CT techs were good.
