Kaiser Permanente Keizer Station Medical Office

Dr Smiley is exceptional! She listens and she really cares! She is so good with my mom with Alzheimer's and the challenge that come along with that she is such a kind, empathetic doctor.

I have mixed feelings about some of Kaiser Permanente's locations, mostly related to availability and time it takes to get appointments etc. Usually the care itself is good. Kaiser at this particular location (Keizer Station) feels like a different organization. It is always great, the staff is always quite friendly. Wait times are very short, even with the pharmacy...compared to other area offices with the exception of West Salem which also has similar short times. Now for my main reason for this review. Dr Tom Holland, a dental specialist in oral surgery at this location. He is an absolute Jedi Master. He managed to accomplish in a few minutes of in-mouth time, getting a very stubborn and painful tooth out. I had tried 3 times before with other dentists to get it out, and they couldn't get it numb enough to remove. Dr. Holland used a couple of unique methods I hadn't recognized from other attempts and it came out **before I even realized he was actually doing the extraction!** needless to say I was amazed and very happy. I'm on my second day of post op and the sockets of both teeth extracted are doing very well. Minimal pain in one and no pain in the other. That man is an absolute legend in the making. Thank you Dr Holland! I feel absolutely horrible that I can't remember the name of his assistant who was also an absolute gem. I was so nervous when I was first there her name flew right over my head. She was incredibly helpful and friendly. Went out of her way to make me as comfortable as possible, knowing I am dental weary. She deserves a lot of credit for calming me down and making the whole process very smooth and comfortable. Thank you both for your amazing work!

Dr. Pasetti and his assistant Gale made me feel welcome and made me feel like I mattered. All of my questions were answered. I hope they know how big of a difference their kindness makes.

NP T Boone does a great job with my knee injections. The one he did yesterday I barely felt the needle go in. He has been doing my knee injections for the last 8-12 months. NP Boone and his nurse are very personable and are very enjoyable to talk to.
