Patient
I found the staff that I dealt with in Dr. Patel's office as well as Dr. Patel to be very kind and compassionate. I do have one suggestion and concern. Not everyone has friends and family that they're living with or near when a person is going to have to have a procedure done that requires them to have transportation unless you have Medicaid and or can afford an Uber that could end up being a big issue. The other issue is many people like myself live alone. There's no one there when I get home to help with any kind of aftercare. Also not knowing how long you're going to be in a procedure is a problem. I have a volunteer who is going to be giving me a ride obviously she can't stay there all day and God forbid if you end up having to go inpatient overnight how are you supposed to get back home again I don't think this is necessarily a negative reflection on the doctors office. It's just a problem that perhaps may not be the typical experience with a patient, but I'm quite sure I'm not the only one that has these kinds of semantics that have to be worked out. Again, Dr. Patel was very compassionate, and I found the office staff to be welcoming patient and compassionate as well.
