My wife has been in and out this summer. The care we recieved was top line. Dr. Huffaker and staff were very caring the recovery nures were great. Every test (many of them), every department offered great care. Hey how about a news stand? Did a lot of waiting. Really after being on Kasier for years i didn't know what to expect. Thanks for being a unexpected suprise!!

Courtney Harrington was my ER Physician on November 5, 2025. I came in for a reaction to my Biologic infusion, (Inflectra), I received the day before. My reaction way full body inflammation, (which my Anklyosing Spondylitis causes this already so it was HORRIBLE. My face, my brain, I could not think straight and my eyes felt bulging and the pain in my neck and back due to the reaction of my biologic was horrific and painful. I had my eyes shut the whole time practically. The reason I am writing this horrible review is because Courtney had all audacity to come into my room lean on the counter arms folded, proceeds to tell me, "You had an Inflectra infusion yesterday? Well, just so you know this is normal. And what your going through is something that happens with your auto immune disorder and because your are receiving biologics you will get this reaction everytime and this is a normal reaction soooo, you gotta live with it. As a doctor, you are WRONG AND TO SPREAD FALSE INFORMATION LIKE THAT IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! You should have your license taken since you seem to lie about sick messes and SERIOUS reactions to medication! And I BET it's because you think I want to have drugs!!! Courtney, as a doctor you should be ashamed of the way you treated me! Dr. Sokalski my Rheumatoid Arthritis/ Auto Immune Disorder specialist told me that what you said was incorrect information and he absolutely apologized for the way you made me feel! Insignificant because you think I just want drugs! You injected me with so much valium I passed out, woke up to my IV being taken out, discharge paperwork being handed to me, told to get dressed and walked out. HOW EMBARRASSING AS A "PROFESSIONAL" to treat a fellow community member this way! Also, NO ONE TOLD ME I WAS GETTING BLOOD DRAWN WHEN I WAS PASSED OUT AND DIDNT INFORM ME ONCE I WOKE UP! I found out today 11.14.2025 when I looked at my MYCHART! You will never be able to serve me again if I ever go to that emergency room again! You should be ashamed of yourself how you treated me and I'm sure I'm not the only one!

I can't understand the difference between what my review will be and these other people I was not doing well when I went in there in my I felt was above and beyond. Everyone was very attentive, caring, and with what I felt to be genuine concern. I left a long way better than I was when I got there and never did. I want for anything. There was someone there asking if they could do anything for me constantly. I did about 2 and 1/2 days in ICU and 2 and 1/2 days in regular care and the difference in care was a zero. They were there 100% of the time for me. Always. I thank all of you for taking care of me. I appreciate you all and you're all in my prayers

I had to go to the ER dept as I had food particles stuck in my throat. I was seen promptly and efficiently. The nursing staff was fantastic and thorough. Less than 3 hours for my visit as it wasn't busy for a Saturday night which was a blessing.

Around 9/30/23 my husband collapsed and I called the paramedics. As they were wheeling him out on the gurney, the couldn't get a pulse. I shrieked and he heard me (they said it must have re-started his heart because he "came to"). I told them I would follow the ambulance in my car. They took him to 3 Rivers where, there found there was nobody in the cardiac unit! They had unloaded him from the ambulance and he was in the ER. But the people in the ER said to take him to Asante in Medford. So they put him back in the ambulance. But he told them to wait for me, He wanted me to take him. He had fought with Asante about ambulance bills before and with AMR and didn't want another ambulance expense for a ride to Medford. But they told him because Asante didn't have anyone on cardiac, they would absorb the cost of the ride to Medford. By that time I had gotten through the ER front desk just as the ambulance left. So I drove to Asante in Medford. The problem for 2 years has been the Ambulance bill. He got a bill for the ambulance to Medford. They had told him at the time that it was medically necessary to be in the ambulance as they had to use the defibulator to re-start his heart, as it had stopped a few times. I think he finally gave up and paid it (not cheap) because he couldn't get anywhere with the hospital.
