I had a horrible first appointment with Dr. Alice Tran at Summit Health Eastside in Bend. She and her nurse wasted 40 minutes of my time asking duplicative questions and not being responsive to my requests for care. Dr. Tran was judgmental, dismissive, condescending, and accusatory. She did not listen to me, and instead spent most of my time lecturing me and saying she did not have time to address my requests, and I would need to return for another appt. She has very low emotional intelligence, zero compassion, and is combative. As a healthy, active, and well-educated woman in my early 60s - I left feeling judged, denigrated, and like I was in poor health. My previous docs have always complimented me on my health and encouraged me to continue my healthy lifestyle. Dr. Tran has zero bedside manner. I will never see her again, and I will request a refund from Summit. Beware!
For an urgent care there was zero sense of urgency. I willl be seeing a different provider next time.
Slow and lazy. Came 1.5 hours before close, waited 30 minutes to get checked in even though there was a single person ahead of me, because the front desk lady decided small talk is more important than actually checking people in. not to mention the self check in was closed. Once i went to check in the front desk lady was no where near as kind, was snippy and slow. I then waited another 30 minutes to get a room, watched nurses hang around giggling and talking. Then an hour after i arrived i see a doctor who said they refused to help me and to go to the ER because it was too late and they were closing. I asked if there was anything they could do because i had already waited an hour and the doctor said "well you couldve got here earlier." The staff was cold, passive aggressive and get annoyed if you show any emotion. When told they refused to help and were kicking me out and i started crying, my doctor scoffed in my face and walked away without saying anything. I wasnt even given discharge papers; just ignored until i asked for them so i could walk to the ER. Do NOT come here, they just keep you there long enough to get paid but dont actually help.
Huge shout out to Debra at the front desk of Urgent Care. She helped me figure out my policy information super fast and was very helpful and informative.
