I think there are some really great aspects to this facility, but the lab reception staff is not one of them. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review, but this is not just poor customer service, this is rudeness to the point I don't even see how is possible. There must be legitimate effort being put into being so utterly obnoxious to customers. My family and I have stopped going to Summit for this reason. I've also heard others report the same, including people who work there. I was even asked by a staff member at Summit to leave a review, as they are just praying that management will finally do something about it.

Absolutely unacceptable. Summit Medical Group canceled my neurology appointment scheduled for April 25th, claiming my referral had expired. Funny thing -- my referral is actually good until JUNE. When I called to fix their mistake, I was told I'd have to wait over a month for the next available appointment. Now, thanks to their incompetence, I'll be running out of my migraine medication before I can be seen. To make matters worse, Tracy, a medical assistant in the neurology department, flat-out lied about the situation. There's no excuse for misleading patients, especially those who rely on timely care for serious health conditions. Healthcare is supposed to be about helping people, not tossing them aside like an inconvenience. Shame on you, Summit Medical Group.

The front desk old women at summit Westside are rude. My husband went in for skin rashes follow up visit after 2 weeks on the bottom of his eyelids after taking antibiotics for 2 weeks and didn't heal completely but tge PA called in sick. We were told they have to reschedule him and we demanded be seen that morning. The receptionist was rude when we refused the rescheduling telling us she cannot do anything and people get sick. She went to the back and we heard her yapping. A medical assistant came out and was able to get us in with another doctor. Then another old receptionist started saying a patient came in and agreed to be rescheduled and that people get sick and that the doctor who was supposed to see us is very ill. Hopefully we can go to a different dermatology clinic.

Zero star's would be better but they don't make that an option. Summit doctors seem to have the goal to be as uncaring and inattentive as possible to make you not want to come back and bother them. Don't expect them to actually care about you or give you the attention you need to ever get actually better. Months of being chronically ill and in pain and afraid, dismissed or written off while my life and career went down the drain , finally I go get a new primary at a private practice and within one visit and some labs/ultrasound have an answer to my problems. Thanks summit for trying to just load me with medications pass me around to other doctors and making me feel like I'm crazy while letting a serious problem go unchecked and causing me unnecessary hardship. I'm sorry I ever trusted you , Figure it out, you took oaths and your job is to help people not cause them never ending suffering and to cash checks from the drug companies.

Absolute disappointment working with this group. Front desk doesn't pay attention nor listen to a word I say. I've had front desk people argue raise their voise and give me attitude when I ask a simple question. They billed the insurance I'm not longer with and told them I'm not covered by that insurance anymore, the message never made it across. Today I got the pleasure of working with a very disgruntled billing lady who immediately gave me an attitude about why I was getting billing. Said I'm on the hook for ANOTHER bill that completely blindsided. No mention of it anywhere in my chart. Very unhappy with how that phone call was handled.
