Dr Dawson completed her internal medicine residency and internship at Providence St. Vincent in Portland, and there was named chief resident, outstanding resident and outstanding intern. Dr Dawson is passionate about partnering with her patients and providing them with the very best evidence-based care as they age and encounter new medical issues.; Dr Dawson and her husband share a love of soccer and actually met while playing on a co-ed soccer team. With their two young children, the family enjoys biking, camping and snowboarding and they are excited to explore Central Oregon together.

I have ABSOLUTELY nothing but great things to say about Dr. Dawson and Joslyn. Our family's only regret is not finding them earlier and using their services for my father. When deciding to go with concierge medicine, if your family is like ours, you are likely weighing two important factors:
1) The "added" cost: We easily found IM Well's rates to be a great value. There are no longer co-pays for visits or fees for most tests & labs with IM Well and you are interacting directly with a provider vs. having to be at the mercy of the healthcare bureaucracy - endless calls/emails into receptionists, MAs, Nurses, Providers, etc. often waiting weeks to get an important answer. With IM Well, you get an answers within minutes or hours.
2) We feared that we'd sacrifice access to other in-network specialists if we went with a Concierge Dr because our PCP would not be "part of" the St. Charles or Summit Health network. We experienced the EXACT opposite with Dr. Dawson. She is SO well-connected and got us in MUCH sooner to see oncologists, radiologists, etc. than my father's former PCP.
I am the son of Dr. Dawson's patient and, as you can tell, am very very enthusiastic about the service Dr. Dawson's practice offers. I endorse IM Well without hesitation.
