About Dr. Sara E. Walz, MD
Dr. Walz has always had a passion for science and taking care of people, so a career in medicine was a natural fit. She enjoys internal medicine because of the relationships she builds with her patients and the challenge of caring for the whole person by putting together their entire clinical picture. With emphasis on evidence-based medicine, Dr. Walz's philosophy of care includes providing the highest quality of care while trying to minimize health care costs. "I enjoy finding relatively simple solutions to complex problems," she says. She has a special interest in treating obesity and practicing preventive medicine.
