My experience with the Cardiac Longevity Clinic was very professional, thorough, informative, providing the next steps to improved living. It has been 3 months since I have been provided with a comprehensive personalized health assessment. I was referred to the CLC after a family member had cardiac issues. I am very happy I decided to go through with the program. The team is super friendly and they are very detailed oriented. The different consultations gave me insights into my health as well as ways to improve my habits to ensure better cardiac health. In the end, the consultation process ended with a sit-down with Dr. Behn where we went over all the individual results and discussed the next steps to continue improving my health and reducing my risk level. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Behn, Mona and the entire CLC team for diagnosing a very serious heart condition that we were unaware of. My husband was referred to the clinic by a colleague as he was finding it difficult getting answers through standard channels regarding several irregular ECGs. While undergoing Dr. Behn's comprehensive testing, a serious condition was discovered that could have had devastating consequences had it not been found. Dr. Behn referred my husband to the Ottawa Heart Institute where he underwent successful triple bypass surgery. To say we were shocked by his diagnosis is an understatement but with Dr. Behn and Mona's guidance and support throughout the process, we made it through. It's now been over three months since surgery and he's doing really well. Dr. Behn made us aware of how important it is to know your Lipoprotein(a) number. This is a relatively new blood test but an incredibly important one. If it's high, get the right medical help to look into it. It could save your life. Our family has learned a lot over the past six months and the CLC program has equipped us with the tools and resources to modify our lifestyle in ways that will be sustainable. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Behn and his incredible longevity team.

I am a 72 year old female. After recently having learned that I have a high Lipoprotein "A" (Hereditary Disease called Dyslipidemia) and also a high Apolipoprotein "B" indicating Cardiovascular Heart Disease, I was extremely shocked and frightened!
