The service was fine, the Doctors were professional enough, but I was disappointed by how quickly my concerns were dismissed as a young woman. My quality of life has been severely impacted by a "mystery illness" that presents similarly to POTS and I was hoping to be given the appropriate testing. Instead I was given the Holter test (which isn't used to diagnose POTS) and the cardiologist refused to give me the Tilt Table Test, which would finally rule out the condition for me. He was also very quick to label my symptoms as anxiety despite symptoms that had little correlation to anxiety (blue swollen feet, extreme fatigue after showers, severe pre syncope etc). It is disappointing to see how many medical professionals are still dismissive of young women and will just call us anxious without any further investigation. The cardiologists here seem great for more common cases, but unfortunately with my situation I did not feel cared for appropriately.

I have been a patient of Dr. Li for few years now and she is excellent cardiologist but as other reviews mentioned the front desk and her admin booking person is terrible ; so booking an appointment is a pain, seeing the doctor is another pain if you are late by few minutes she skip your appointment and move you as if you are walkin waiting till the end; as if she is punishing you. She is always argumentative and rude. I am pretty sure if the clinic sent a survey to their patients, which is good practice by any business standards, they will get zero for customer service. My dad was a patient of Dr. Li and cause of same admin issues he switched to another cardiologist. I am doing the same too and its a shame that critcial care like this is poorly managed and access to an excellent physician is controlled by a front desk admin who lacks in every basics of this job requirement.

I recently visited the Oakville Cardiologist Diagnostic Center for my mom and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The facility itself is modern and clean, which helped put me at ease as soon as I walked in. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient, making the check-in and wait times minimal. The cardiologist Dr Orfi Jan we saw was not only knowledgeable but also took the time to explain my mom test in a way that was easy to understand. I appreciated that they listened to her concerns, answered all her questions, and provided clear guidance on our next steps. The range of diagnostic tools available, from echocardiograms to stress tests, was impressive, allowing us to complete everything I needed in one place without needing referrals elsewhere. Overall, we felt very cared for and I would highly recommend the Oakville Cardiologist Diagnostic Center to anyone in need of cardiac diagnostics. The combination of a professional, compassionate staff and a state-of-the-art facility makes it an excellent choice for heart health concerns.

Declaration: This is the true review to Dr. Li, Qin's secretary, a staff in Oakville Cardiologists Diagnostic Centre, not to Dr. Li, Qin herself. My mother's appointment was scheduled from 9:15 am to 10:15 am this morning and it was advised to arrive 15 mins earlier on the appointment day. I came with my mother, who do not understand or speak English. We arrived about 20 mins earlier and after about 30 mins waiting, my mother was called to do the echo test. After my mother's echo done, we were asked to wait outside again to see Dr. Li, in or around 9:50 am. Everything is ok and normal at this point. We wait another ~30 minutes until around 10:20 am, then I asked the secretary when my mother can see Dr. Li, as she needs to leave for her work. The secretary advised that all the rooms are full, and Dr. Li was busy with another patient. She let us just seat and wait. After another ~5 mins wait, we asked the secretary once again to see how long we are expecting to wait otherwise if we can schedule an appointment to come next time as our current appointment was scheduled until 10:15 am and now it already passed 10 mins and still not even seeing Dr. Li yet. My mother started to panic as she has to go for work soon otherwise she will be late. The secretary again advised that all the rooms are full now, and Dr. Li is with another patient and there is nothing they can do if patient is asking lots of questions to the doctor. She further advised that it is common that, as always, we need to expect longer waiting time, when it comes to see the doctor. I was replying that everyone's time is important, I understand and respect patient will ask questions, but we also need to work, and my mother needs to arrive on time for her work. We expect the visit time from 9:15 am to 10:15 am but now it already passed and we still not seeing Dr. Li yet. During the talk, I further suggesting that they might need a better and more flexible schedule moving forward if this kind of situation is anticipated. The secretary seems not pleasant after hearing my words, she then started to make fun of me, saying something like "I think you can do my job, how about we switch the job, you do my job, I do your job?". After a few back and forth communication without any progress, I told the secretary that we will wait for another 5 mins, if we can't see Dr. Li, we will have to leave and reschedule. During the wait, we finally lead by the secretary to the room, and advised by her that there is another appointment for my mother sometime in this May. The secretary further talked to my mother, who can not speak and do not understand English, saying that, next time do not take him (me) to come. We wait in the room for another ~10 minutes, during the wait, we found that Dr. Li is just in another room next to us, she was alone in the room, and seems busy with something, but there was no patient, and not as the secretary mentioned earlier that 'the patient is asking lots of questions, and there is nothing we can do'. Eventually we end up talking to Dr. Li to request to reschedule the appointment by phone call as my mother was really nervous for her work being late, and we left the office in or around 10:40 am. Overall, during this nearly 1 hour 50 minutes appointment visit, my mother only did an echo test for ~20 minutes, even we followed their advised time to arrive 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. I am not in favor of Dr. Li's secretary's manner, who found to be not professional, neither respectful manner nor courtesy revealed during the conversation. Everyone's time is important, not just Doctor's time or "the last patient's time". Updated Review on June 27, 2023: I was never got any contact from Dr.Li's office after posting this review, and I have not hear from Dr. Li anymore to follow up on my mother's test result since then. Updated Review on October, 2025: Dr. Li rejected my mother's follow up visit and test result follow-up request because of my previous negative review to her secretary. I do not think she is a patient-oriented doctor.
