Only nice respectful person has left. Rest of staff is either rude or dismissive. When trying to access programs and you're low income and need help, you need to jump thru hoops or false expectations are set. No one ever follows up on anything. Honestly, if you're not willing to pay the thousands of dollars for their programs, don't waste your time. You're treated the same way no matter where you go if you're a struggling low-income person. Edit to reply: I was told that someone would be in contact after whom I was with left and there was zero contact. The ONLY person that made it a good experience is gone. She was the o out one that followed up with me and replied promptly. We went to a cooking class and it was atrocious, the women doing it did not know how to cook and their kitchen manners were something to be desired. As for getting into the programs, it was a "well we don't know if we will because we're a non profit". How are you supposed to be there and help individuals who come to you for help when we're constantly met with hesitation and false expectations? Heart Niagara isn't the heart of Niagara that it claims to be. And no, programs are not $80, I have paperwork that says otherwise. Edit again : It's been nearly three weeks since I was told I would have to wait "a few days" for help. And going back to look at my communications, the only communications I have received is asking for donations. I haven't received anything in regards to continuing the workout program or if my membership will be renewed. Because I have heard nothing but asking for donations, I was under the impression there has not been a replacement for the fabulous lady I was working with. She told me that the manager (Karen) would ensure that communications were sent out.

Completely ignored upon my arrival. Not a good morning, how are you or nothing. Rude. Got in trouble for putting my keys down in the wrong location after being asked to put then down. Zero bed side manners. I'll be asking my Doctor to no longer refer me to this location

Front desk reception underwhelming as was the state of cleanliness of such. Once with the tech though, she was great.

Heart Niagara has great programs for first aid training and support the CanBike program for bike safety for children. They provide a very good service to the Niagara community and are very worthy of your support and donations! See their website for all that they do.
