Pediatric Cardiology of Oklahoma

Terrible experience. As a 17 year old with unexplainable heart problems, I left feeling embarrassed and lost. The blonde NP was TERRIBLE. She made me feel stupid for every question I asked. Don't take your kids here. I was told passing out and unreasonably high heart rate was "normal". I was averaging 140 SITTING, and was told it was completely normal. I may not have went to medical school for 14 years, but I sure know that's not okay. I BEG don't take your kids here, they are so judgmental. Not to mention the lack of compassion in a very vulnerable state. Terrible.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. This is a pediatric cardiology center and the staff are definitely NOT pediatric friendly. One lady, I am assuming a nurse, rolled her eyes when giving her an answer to one of her questions. The other staff member giving the EKG just took the stickers off without any warning to my 5 year old grandchild. She didn't even ask or explain to the child what she was going to do. Lori, the provider, was a little bit better but not by much. Lori is the only one that stated her name and title when entering the room. STAFF HAS TERRIBLE BED SIDE MANNER TO BE A CHILDREN'S HEART CENTER. Do better.

It was a little tricky to find...It's located in the main hospital in the heart hospital division of the hospital. Wonderful staff...Very friendly and professional. Dr. Jackson is an excellent Doctor. Very thorough and he gave us peace of mind.

The doctor was fantastic, however to recieve a $290 bill AFTER insurance for one office visit becuase they billed me for 2 doctors is CRAZY!! All becuase they did an echo which took less than 10 min in the office and they had an offsite radiologist read it that charged the insurance $450 and billed as him seeing a 2nd doctor. Billing said that is how they have always done it.

Never coming here again. I came here during my pregnancy and now when my son was 9 months old. The lady who did his ECHO was nice, the nurse who came in to get his blood pressure was completely ridiculous. I've never seen an adult throw a fit over a BABY not sitting still. Also have never seen an adult working with children , throw a fit that a baby won't sit still. She asked questions, and then dismissed my answers. She kept making comments about my child not sitting still long enough to get his BP and when I responded with the same ignorance she had, she replied with "Well usually babies come in here a lot happier than yours!" My baby has a disability that involves the brain, he doesn't have the control. I helped to the best of my ability but will not hurt or restrain my child for something so simple. You work here with children. If you don't have it figured out yet, there's a problem. I told her to get away from us and then she proceeded to talk about me in the hallway but FAILED TO MENTION how she acted towards us and failed to repeat the things she said about my baby.
