Dr. Kumar, his staff, plus all staff within Cardiovascular imaging - 2nd floor - are hands down brilliant at their job(s). My visits with Dr. Kumar- 4th floor staff and nurses are appointments I look forward to. Even my complete cardio workup gave me the opportunity to meet each dept and staff within and all are brilliant! Kind, friendly, knowledgeable to their fields have been a brilliant experience with seemingly old-time friends. They are all incredible!!!!
I brought my 83 year-old dad in as a new patient. All the personnel in the office were very friendly and welcoming and helpful. Dr. Kumar was extremely thorough and helpful. It takes time to get a new patient started and I appreciate everything he helped with. great office to take all your cardiology needs too.
The doctor asked me questions, but he did not pay attention to the answer. He asked some questions multiple times, because he was not paying attention the first time I answered the question. I saw him looking at his watch during the appointment at least three times. I said "Can you please stop checking your watch during the appointment so that you can really hear what I am saying?" He said "I am just checking my messages."

Dr. Kumar is an excellent doctor, I feel very comfortable with his ability and concern for me. He's very pleasant and easy to talk with. On my last visit he said my heart has healed, in just two months. I could not be more pleased with him being my doctor. I arrived at the hospital by ambulance and didn't "pick" a doctor, but someone did me a real favor giving me to Dr.Kumar! He's, the BEST! St. JOHN'S HOSPITAL is also THE BEST!
