My husband had a serious heart attack. A STEMI, 100% occluded in the LAD, (the widow maker) and 80% occluded in the right. The team was top notch. They did everything they should have and they did it quickly. I wouldnt trust anyone else with heart care. Our only negative experience was with the front desk person. My husband was ashen grey, slumped over in a chair and as soon as I walked in the door she yelled at me about our insurance card. I will give you the damn card, we are gonna be here for a minute. She needs to be retrained on compassion and empathy when someone is fighting for their life. Every now and again you are treating actual emergencies.
