I went to OHH in Shawnee to establish new patient care. I have been a heart patient with OHH for around 5 years. My cardiac care with them has been the absolute best. I have had heart issues my whole life so I was happy to find a place that was so good for my heart care. I thought having a primary care Dr with them would be perfect to go with my cardiac care. I had recently been hospitalized for a severe case of RSV. The hospital wanted me to follow up with a primary care Dr. I went to see Janet at OHH Shawnee. I took all my medications with me as this is what I was instructed to do as a new patient. My wife also asked me to mention my Xanax prescription that I had been prescribed previously, 3 years earlier. My anxiety had gotten a little worse after my hospitalization I had a full bottle of expired Xanax but didn't think it was safe to take being expired. I mentioned it to Janet's nurse. She informed me that is was a new protocol to take a urine drug screening prior to being able to fill it. I said ok that's fine. Not a big deal as that was not the main reason I was there. I wanted to follow up about the RSV because I was still having bad headaches and dizziness from it still. I was treated like a drug addict after that the entire time. The entire appointment was made to be about anxiety and the Xanax. I had to repeat myself several times stating that I was not here for that. After telling me they could not fill the prescription the nurse asked if I still wanted to see the Dr. I'm like of course I am mainly here to establish new care and follow up on my RSV and hospitalization. The nurse was rude the entire time and just kept treating me like I was as there to try and get Xanax. If I were some sort of drug addict trying to get Xanax. I don't think I would have and entire bottle of expired Xanax with me that was prescribed by my cardiologist. I was very disappointed with the way they treated me about this. After leaving I called back up there and let them know I will not be continuing care after that and I didn't appreciate being treated that way at all. Oklahoma Heart Hospital is the best at what they do, but the Shawnee location will treat you like a drug addict and be very rude. I do not recommend this place at all. Ill will make sure to follow up with supervision at the south location about how I was treated. Janet did not listen to my concerns and made the entire appointment about anxiety . Her nurse Lori is very rude and snarky. This location gives a bad name to OHH.

Kind and courteous staff. My primary care and cardiologist have their practices at this location. I feel at ease and feel that they have my best welfare in mind.

apparently, the staff changed my appointment without telling me so I showed up today at 11:30 only to hear that. Oh we have changed your appointment. Oh, didn't we tell you? I wouldn't mind but I'm use a walker. Driving is difficult and it takes me all morning to accomplish this. Only to be told that oops we changed that

This hospital has double standards they want their employees to have a certain level of excellence while their management is flawed. They said they have an open door policy if you have a promblem and then when you do they use it as an excuse to fire you. We are human beings and we all have bad days but to be let go because of that is a lack of compassion but one of your core values is compassion and respect and humility hmmm not a five star in my book, A lot of favortism . While you are respectful to your patients Yes but your employees are just a warm body the training is almost non present,
