Patient
We were referred here for an urgent medical issue by our primary care provider, yet it took nearly a month just to get an appointment. Then, after all that waiting, we showed up on the scheduled day, only to be told the appointment was actually three weeks later. The receptionist immediately tried to shift the blame onto us, insisting we had misunderstood, despite both my mom and sister being on the call when the appointment was made, and both clearly hearing the original date. She even tried to blame the "language barrier", despite the fact that my sister, who is fluent in English, handled the entire conversation. That excuse felt dismissive and discriminatory Whether it was her mistake or someone else's, the appointment was scheduled incorrectly and no one took accountability. For a clinic handling urgent cases, this kind of miscommunication and lack of ownership is unacceptable.
