I knew going into my appointment yesterday what to expect. Dr. Payne and I discussed it at length in September. Dr. Payne had hoped going the way of least trauma to my heart would benefit me but sadly it was not to be. If anyone needs a great electrician(my words not the doc's) this doctor is the one you want!!!! Expect the truth and a great game plan when you leave. 5 out of 5 for me!!

This was my first appointment with Dr. Payne. From the time I walked into the building everyone was very polite and very welcoming. From the receptionist to the med. Asst they were great. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. The doctor was great and explained everything and also listened to what my concerns were. We came to a mutual game plan. He did not push anything on me but explained what all my alternatives were and came to a mutual decision. I left the office feeling good about the appointment.

Dr. Payne and staff LISTENED and were ready to help. We showed up an hour early and expected to wait (because we had to drive into the city and didn't know how traffic would be), but they seemed to genuinely care and we waited no time to be seen. They still took the time we needed to explain things and answer our questions. We are very encouraged that they are a good fit to help make my husband (the patient) feel better.

Dr Payne is approachable and answers questions and concerns with empathy. He and his assistant Scout see that your needs are met professionally and courteously.

My follow up visit with Dr Payne went well. Dr Payne does a good job of explaining my condition in simple language. Also, the staff was great to handle my procedures after an early arrival.
