Texas native Jered Cook, M.D., invasive cardiology, earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine before completing his internal medicine internship at New York Downtown Hospital and his residency at Northwell Health-Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Dr. Cook completed his cardiac imaging fellowship at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, N.Y. and a cardiovascular diseases fellowship at the University of Toledo Medical Center, where he served as chief fellow.

Dr. Cook is the best! Has taken care of me since my surgery and has always answered any questions or concerns I may have. His staff is always welcoming, friendly and quick to take care of any questions or requests I might have. I can't thank Dr Cook enough for fixing my heart and treating me as a person and not just a number on a chart. Highly recommend him for anyone needing a cardiologist.
Outstanding...Dr Cook did all the tests that were needed for my symptoms. Completely trusted him. Very nice and wonderful bed side manner. Extremely impressed by him.
Only choosing three stars at this point due to the fact I've only had two visits. So far, it's been a pretty good experience. Dr. Cook is very personable, seems sincerely invested in your situation, he listens, and is extremely respectful and just all around genuine. Now the window staff, remembering only two visits so far, I've seen a couple different staff members. These contacts were not as good as they could have been. I do understand that people, even professionals in professional settings have bad days themselves and are human. Won't go into great details but could have been nicer and personable. Overall, good place.
Dr Cook & his Staff are all Very Professional & Knowledgeable. I've been seeing Dr Cook for the past several years for My Heart . I have a stent & I've always had problems with High Cholesterol. Dr Cook saw that my previous medication did not help with lowering my cholesterol & he immediately changed my medication to a New medicine that immediately started working. I can now say that my labs reflect the positive change in my medication. In Addition I've never had to wait very long for my appointment. Very Nice Staff & Dr Cook always answers any questions I have about my heart issues & medications I'm taking . Would Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Good Heart Specialist.
