Dr. Pamela Craven, MD

Dr. Craven has been My dad's And my cardiologist for over 10 years. She's thorough amazing and kind. She follows through with everything. Best cardiologist in Oklahoma City is right here. Very knowledgeable as well. Just love it a bit.

Dr. Cravin is my mother's doctor and we adore her. My mother (86) had an appointment scheduled for the middle of March at 3:30. The office called her yesterday and left a message which changed the appointment for another day at 8:30 in the morning and that it would not be a problem if the time/date didn't work because we could call them and change the appointment. We called them and left a message about needing to change the appointment due to my mother not being able to drive herself since her eye is stitched shut due to shingles and that I (her daughter) is my mother's driver and that I am a teacher so I would need something in the afternoon (3:15, 3:30ish again like in the past). When they called back, they called my phone instead of my mother's, and I was told that the only appointment that they had later in the afternoon was on September 3. That is 7 months away. When I let my mother know about the appointment being so far away, she was very upset and had me call back to see if they had anything available over the summer (anytime during the day). I was told that the September appointment was the only one that they had available. I let my mother know the new information and she was not happy at all. She doesn't understand when she needs a new prescriptions (she was seen last march 2024) for her meds and she gets put off for 7 additional months, because how does the doctor actually know how she is doing on her meds? Also, I have never known it to be normal for a doctor or a specialty doctor to keep prescribing medications past a year without checking on the patient in person to make sure the person is even still alive or running labs to see if the medications are still at the correct level or if they need to be adjusted. My mother now feels like Dr. Cravin does not care about her well being and will probably be contacting her physician for a referral to a new cardiologist within the next few days.

Dr Craven is my dad's doctor, and she is very caring and takes time to explain in great detail. She has made herself available in times of emergency that prevented him from being admitted to the hospital.

My husband Robert A Glenn said she was kind and listened well and knew what she was talking about. She got him on medicine that is making him feel lots better.

Dr. Craven is very kind and took time to answer any questions. She is knowledgeable and has a superb bedside manner.
