SSM Health Urgent Care

Unfortunately I had to go here because my usual urgent care was closed and it felt like I was being rushed out. I went to get my ears checked on because one of them was clogged and hurting and was told that my ear canal was just swollen but there was no infection. They sent over some ear drops to the pharmacy and I immediately went and picked them up because of the really bad pain in my right ear but every time I put them in both my ears, which was what was instructed by the doctor, they would hurt even worse. I'm talking I almost went to the ER because I was hurting so bad. Even breathing hurt. I called them back the next day to ask when I should see improvement and they said if it's still hurting the same or worse in a couple days to check up with my primary service provider in case the doctor 'missed something'. Which is exactly what I did the next day, and sure enough, not only did my right ear get worse, but so did my left which wasn't even bothering me a lot at the start of all this. Come to find out lots of people end up coming to my usual urgent care after being seen by the SSM one. Now both my ears are swollen closed and they're both infected. DEFINITELY wouldn't recommend it to anyone EVER.

Yes they helped with the immediate concern which was my asthmatic episode, but they failed to follow through with standard procedures such as check my ears nose eyes and back of my throat. I have strep throat, which would be the primary diagnosis as the asthma was affected by the strep throat infection. If you're dying then come here, they'll make sure you won't die. But honestly that's about it.

Friendly and informative staff. Had made an appointment and was taken back on time if not sooner. Experience was a 10 out of 10!

What is the point of being an urgent care if you walk in and they tell you it will be 3 hours cause every booked appointments online. If people are booking appointments online then you have become a doctors office not an urgent care. Been coming here since they opened usually very good but lately your way of doing business now has taken the urgent out of urgent. It's too bad el Reno doesn't have more choices. People come in and sign in on your kiosk and then find out they are just booking an appointment and then leave and never come back. But appt still stays in there so when new people come in they think there is nothing for hours. Seems like you are pushing your own customers away by your poor practices.

Terrible. Arrived at 7:04. Signs say they close at 8. We were left unattended long enough I had forms filled out for them to come Out finally and tell me they were at max capacity with no one in the lobby and 1 car in the patient parking area and they stop taking patients at 7:06. Maybe signs and Google should reflect that time instead.
