I went to Dr. Young for a consult. His staff were very pleasant as was Dr. Young himself. Great bedside manner. I look forward to him being my heart doctor. He comes highly recommended.

During a recent visit, my father and I met with Dr. Young's PA Allison Greene. Initially the visit was positive. Greene was very attentive and informative. However, when my father asked her why he hadn't seen Dr. Young but 3 times in 10 years, she became very defensive and irate. Having heard enough of her attitude toward my ailing 83 yr old father, (including "well I guess I just wasted 36 min with you") I demanded she leave the exam room. Her unprofessional, childish and rude behavior was reported to Mercy Health. Although an apology was given by Mercy Health, Dr. Young's PA Allison Greene found it unnecessary to reach out and apologize. Obviously we will not be returning to his office. Dr. Young should keep in mind, when a patient is satisfied, they tell 50 people. However, when a patient is dissatisfied, they tell 100 people. I intend to exceed the 100 people mark, and by far. My advice, go somewhere else if you need a cardiologist. After all, when you need a cardiologist, you expect to see a cardiologist.

I can only speak for myself, but I have been a patient of Dr. Young's for about 6 yrs now, and he is always ampt to listen to me and he works well with his patients. He doesn't talk down to them and it feels like he is working with you & listens to your concerns as a patient as he provides a win win situation between doctor & pateint. Wonderful bed side manner as a cardiologist.

If I could Give Gary Young 6 stars I would. Dr. Young listens, is professional and always has the patients best interest at heart. I have known Dr. Young since he was a resident. When it comes to your heart, people get anxious. Dr. Young does his best to decrease anxieties. As an advanced practice nurse for over 30 years, many ask for my opinion when choosing a cardiogist.
