UH Parma Medical Center

Honestly, even though I work at this hospital, I was dreading the ER visit. Not to shame this location- I just hate doctors offices and the ER in general from my past experiences. Anyway, I'm glad I came for my issues. Everyone from Emily my triage nurse to Amanda the PCNA to Liz my RN to the NP William, thank you all so much for being so friendly and positive during my experience. I appreciate you all so much. I also want to thank my MRI techs (Russ?? And a younger gentleman) for relaxing me and helping me not have a panic attack while getting head scans. Thank you for listening to my concerns with my claustrophobia and for making what could have been a horror situation into one that was not horrible at all. Thank you for communicating with me and the team and getting me out in a timely fashion.

Went to the ER with a foreign object in my eye. Dr Brailer and Dr Akbar were super dilligent in making me comfortable treating the symptons. Both Drs came to see me multiple times and answered all my questions with compassion. Dr Brailler was personable and easy to talk to. He listened to my concerns. I could see Dr Akbar truly cared-and not just going through the motions. Both Drs were gentle and articulate when they had to poke around in my eye. The nurse staff was amazing. The nurse who checked me in was very kind and welcoming. I was then assigned nurse Stacey who so compassionate and was constantly checking in on me. I could tell that she really cared and felt so bad for me and the discomfort i was experiencing. She treated me like a mom. She made the whole experience so much easier. Hope to not have to come back to the ER anytime soon--but if I do I hope its when all these Doctors and nurses are there.

Walked in, and my baby girl was seen right away! My concerns were truly listened to, and every staff member went above and beyond. Everyone was so kind and made my daughter feel comfortable and special during this rough time of her being sick. From the triage nurse to Nurse Stacey, who offered crayons and coloring pages, to Dr. Gercerich every single person was wonderful. Even the RT staff showed so much care and compassion. You would honestly think they work in pediatrics based on how amazing they were with her. I'm so thankful for the entire team!

We had a great experience at the University Hospital ER in Parma. Dr. Quinn and nurses Alyssa and Jean were very nice and helpful when my son hurt his head. They took wonderful care of him and made him feel comfortable the whole time. They even gave him stickers and a popsicle, which made his visit so much easier. We really appreciate their kindness and professionalism.

Thank you to the nurses and staff members as well as ems whom took care of me while I was taken to hospital. I would like to recognize the nurse Naomi L. specifically. She was wonderful and very caring. Her bedside manner is very excellent and she is a fantastic nurse. Thank you again for your care and time.
