I have seen Dr. Dalencour for a couple of years now (currently I am 18 years old) as my own pcp. She also sees all three of my elementary aged siblings. She is an amazing doctor and is truly attentive. She listened to all of my concerns, pointed me in the right direction to specialists, and helped with the issues I had. She has same day appointments and always finds a way to squeeze you in if it's urgent. Recently my sister had a bad reaction to some mosquito bites and we almost had to take her to the er for a spreading infection. Dr. Dalencour and her team quickly called us back after notifying her of my sisters worsening condition and squeezed us into a very last minute appointment in order to treat her rather than being transferred downtown for an extended stay. Her bedside manner was impeccable when treating my six year old sister and all around she is a wonderful woman and doctor.

As a healthcare worker who has worked very closely with MANY different providers, I can honestly say that seeing this doctor today was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. My daughter is having some concerning complications from influenza and we are not naive to what complications are considered severe or mild. They were in fact severe and I wanted a pediatrician to get their eyes on her before rushing to the emergency room as the ER is overfilled right now. Our regular pediatrician was out of office today so they suggested I make an appt with Chantal Dalencour, whom I have never met. Eager to have my child seen, I agreed.
When she entered the room I said hello to her and thanked her for getting us in same day, she barely addressed me or made eye contact with me. She was extremely rude to my 3.5 year old and has zero bedside manner. I went over all the concerns and she listened to my daughter, looked in her ears and told me "sounds like flu" and "give her cheerios" and "I'll send amoxicillin, it's not infected but it's kind of red". She never once addressed the fact she was having difficulty walking, severe weakness, and flank pain.
Thankfully our pediatrician called us same day, ON HER DAY OFF, after the visit after finding out I had some serious concerns about that provider and how she was absolutely dismissive. She addressed every one of my concerns and gave us instructions on red flags and what care she wants done over the weekend, and to see her in office Monday to follow up and throughly assess her.

Dr. Chantel Dalencour has been my sons PCP for a little while now. We usually don't have to see her but once a year or less for check ups. My son started having some pretty serious issues so we went to see her. When she came in the room I smiled & gave her a friendly hello. She was cold & unwelcoming throughout the appointment. We left feeling really uncomfortable & disappointed. We just found a new pcp who is so kind and we absolutely love him. I wouldn't recommend Dr.Dalencour to anyone.
Update: seeing other reviews where she compares white parents vs black parents?! That is absolutely disgusting and extremely racist.

Talks about unprofessional subjects during appts. I think she gets too comfortable with her black patients . And no, do your job. She compares white patients to black patients. "White parents don't blah blah blah" she asked us what our finances looking like.
Apparently she made it clear that she does not like my daughter hair. In front of her. Trying to repeatedly give me a hair styles number that me and daughter don't even know. I said no 7 times. She had my daughter cover her ears. Dalencore whispered to me. "You don't want to help your daughter's self esteem?" Plus more. My daughter (11) asked if she could do her own hair. Dalencore literally impacted her self esteem in a bad way right then and there.
I watched her look at my daughter head to toe with disgust, I guess because my daughter wants to do her own things this summer.
My father in-law baby goes to Dalencore. First visit that my husband's dad brought his baby to the appt. She told this man, "I like your son better than you..." Girl, what!?
And I don't like the chuckles she does under her breathe when you are talking to her. Or like when I was saying no to that phone number. She was doing that chuckle and proceeded to write the number and try to hand it to me like I didn't even say anything.
Why is she giving me a strangers Number. She's wild for that .

I don't believe she spends enough time with her minor patients. Or exams well enough. After five minutes my two year old son has a single ear infection once again and is given amoxicillin once again and a few days later I'm taking my son to the er for diarrhea not eating and not drinking well for the first time and come to find out it's actually a double ear infection. Every doctor that has seen my son wants a good look at his ears. Dr dalencour barely looks around. And I can't see any of my sons medical records since we started seeing dalencour. So I can't tel anyone for sure anymore how many infections, when his hearing test was or anything.
