I have had three terrible experiences here regarding my pregnancies and births, and my most recent one has prompted me to leave a review. I was almost 27 weeks pregnant when I went to Labor & Delivery after bleeding and having abnormal pain. They hooked me up to a monitor to check on baby's heartbeat and possible contractions for about an hour, but refused to do an internal exam or some cultures because an OBGYN had just done them yesterday and everything looked fine. I tried to explain that something didn't feel right and that the symptoms I was having did not feel normal, but I was brushed aside and sent away. My symptoms worsened overnight into the morning, and I told my husband to take me to the nearest hospital to us. They found that I was severely dehydrated and after starting an internal exam found my water had broken and I started preterm labor. I ended up going to UH main and delivered my baby there at 26 weeks 6 days. I will never step foot at Hillcrest again. They did not listen to me during any of my pregnancies, and I am very upset that they sent me away without some sort of an examination after I came in and stated that something just wasn't right. The doctor couldn't have cared less. My only positive experience is my midwife, which was the only reason I was still willing to go to Hillcrest because she was based out of there. Please find somewhere else to go for pregnancy/delivery. They have shown multiple times many of they do not care about their patients.

I had my baby in September and it was an amazing experience. The nurses midwives and doctors were all amazing. I would definitely recommend having your baby here. They were encouraging me every step of the way and they couldn't have been more patient with me. My nurse Miranda stayed with me until I gave birth even though her shift was over. She wanted to see the baby be born and she did I couldn't have been more thankful for her. My midwife Hannah was amazing as well. They made the experience better!

Subject: Complaint Regarding Staff Mistreatment During Pre-Anesthesia Visit Dear Patient Experience Team, I am writing to report unprofessional and disrespectful treatment I experienced during my pre-anesthesia appointment on October 20, 2025 at Hillcrest Hospital. The medical assistant involved was named Maineeba. During the visit, she asked me to sit in a specific chair to check my temperature. Because I am short, my feet could not reach the floor, and I politely asked to switch to a different chair so I could sit comfortably and safely. Instead of helping me, she stared at me with a hostile expression, breathed heavily as if I was giving her a problem, and raised her voice. Her attitude made me feel like I was an inconvenience just for requesting a more suitable chair. Her behavior was rude, dismissive, and made me feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, and discriminated against. No patient should be treated this way, especially in a medical setting where respect and compassion are expected. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed and addressed appropriately to ensure other patients are not treated in the same manner. I would also prefer not to be assisted by this staff member in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Just want to say I appreciate all the Drs and Nurses here. Big shout out to Dr.Cooley. I was in here about 2 weeks ago for what I thought was an allergic reaction but turned out I had a blood clot in my lungs. Dr.Cooley explained everything and was non judgmental. Yesterday I had to go back because I was sick. Yes, the wait time was bad but I understand that they have to go on severity and not when you get there. Dr.Cooley was my doctor again and again he made sure I understood what was going on and made sure I had everything I needed. I appreciate everything this hospital has done for me
