I'm 6 weeks post op and never had pain after my CABGX2 double bypass, open heart surgery (arm and mammary artery taken, not leg). I kept waiting for what one would expect from such a major, invasive surgery! It never came. Prior to my surgery, was told that 85% of their patients feel very little to no pain! I was like....what??? And was very skeptical then. Now, I'm just in awe! Yes there's some mild soreness but nothing major! Dr Ahier has a great bedside manner. He's kind and speaks in layman's terms. He did a fantastic job with my surgery. I'm forever grateful to Dr Ahier and Kettering Medical Center!!!
