John Mauer, MD

Dr. Mauer is the best doctor. He attentively listened to my concerns, took the time to discuss my symptoms in detail, and ordered a comprehensive set of tests to address my health needs. I highly recommend this doctor!

The medical staff here are good. They are always responsive to my inquiries. I've seen Dr. Mauer for about 15 years. I find him to be patient and a good manager of chronic issues. One thing in particular is that he knows his limits and doesn't try to play God. He'll write a referral when appropriate. He's never rushed and always confirms that he understands what I'm reporting. The front office staff can be a bit surly and pedantic, but what office isn't that way these days. Highly recommend.

Dr. Mauer is patient and attentive. His understanding of my complex medical status and the ability to discuss in layman's terms really set me at ease. Dr Mauer managed the appointment time, taking notes and reviewing past records in a meticulus approach so that nothing was left out. His staff are what I would expect in a professional setting. The staff are helpful, have a great disposition, especially for being tasked with their line of work day after day. They answered questions immediately with no harshness what so ever. Reading one other review that dings him for the office staff supporting him; that review is not fair, and from my experience inaccurate. I changed to Dr. Mauer specifically because my prior MD's office dropped the ball (no follow up / follow through) time after time. I've had no negative experience with his office.
