New person who did my blood work was unprofessional. Despite my blood work order stating my current name, my insurance having my current name, and most other places having my current name as I'm slowly but surely changing things over they would not change what my name was in the system to match even though the lab work order itself said the correct name. I was told that the insurance would have problems, it wouldn't, and that "we will just keep it as (insert my old name here) for now and I can change it the next time I come in and show them my papers then". I have already shown my paperwork and documents multiple times. I do not want to have to have to constantly carry documents for a matter that has more or less been settled by every other doctors office I have been to. And even despite this, if my name was that much of an issue, why did they even fill the order in the first place given my correct name was on the order itself. So from my perspective they were willing to fill an order with incorrect information on it but not willing to correct the information without me presenting all of my documents again. Now the emails I get also have the same wrong name on them which means I am going to have to go through this entire hellish process again. Thanks for nothing.
