Family Physicians of Gahanna - Central Ohio Primary Care

I'm giving a 1 because I cant give a 0. Unfortunately, my typical care provider at this location is hard to pin down, but typically it is fine and I do not have issues with the other members of the care team. This last telehealth visit I had yesterday with Evan Stathulis really irritated me, I did not feel like I was being treated for the issues I know are present. I understand that telehealth can be difficult. However I was treated like a drug seeking addict when asking for a simple Z-Pack. I have a daughter that turns 2 on Friday and bday party Sunday and then its thanksgiving, so a lot going on this time of year for most people however for me with the bday right before, its even more hectic. I know that I am not a dr, however I am 38 and have had these same symptoms my entire life when the weather changes and I get sick. I have my tonsils, I have asthma and these weather changes really bother me. That being said I was totally dismissed for wanting to get out in front of the sickness I have and woke up today even worse than yesterday, coughing up yellow/brown mucus and body aches, which I knew was coming... I'm really disappointed, I don't feel safe, or comfortable using this care team just based off this one interaction with this Dr. I don't know how much it actually costs my insurance for a phone visit that doesn't even last 5 minutes however I did have to also pay co-pay for less than a 5 minute conversation and this guy to treat me like my issues don't matter. I wouldn't recommend using COPC and my family and I will find a new place to get care.

Dr Lisa Johns is an EXCELLENT doctor! Very knowledgeable, thorough, professional, timely, down to earth and helpful. She takes her time to really listen, understand and provide options, pulling you in as a partner in the decision making, to ensure the path forward is the most optimal choice for you, the patient. Highly recommended!

Dr. John's really takes the time to talk to you about everything that your going through in life as well as taking care of your health. She listens to what you have to say and always responded with a situation or advise. Your not treated as if you are not important. She took all test needed and set up all needed appointments for up coming visits. She is kind, considerate, and cares truly about how your doing and feeling. She's in my book one of the best doctors I have had in a long time. Also the her staff is just as kind, caring, and pleasant as Dr Johns is. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a general family physician!

New Pt....The check in process went smoothly. Those young ladies are on it-even those in training. Both Dr & nurse are clearly more than capable & competent. So glad i am now with this team. It feels like they're invested in my care. Appreciate the experience. Even with the wait for next visit, i am confident they are doing what they can-in the interim. So glad my boss recommended!

Dr Dankovich is one of the best Doctors I've ever had. She takes her time and never jumps to conclusions. She's very good at thinking outside the box. The nursing staff are very professional and personable. I recommend this office to everyone I meet.
