Cleveland Clinic - Euclid Hospital

Summary: Police will threaten you to leave and make you drive home intoxicated even if you tell them you are not safe to drive. The other day I was there and had been given a heavy dose of medication. This included narcotics and barbiturates. I had also been prescribed something that I couldn't take so I informed the nurse this. She didn't want to listen to me so I asked for a patient advocate. She also didn't want to listen to me so she brought a doctor in to yell at me. I was forced out of there but as I said I was on heavy meds and disoriented so I wasn't very stable on my feet. I had stopped to get my balance only to be threatened by police to leave. They said I was trespassing. I informed them I did not feel safe to drive, because I didn't. One of the officers said he didn't care and he'd drag me out of there kicking and screaming if he had to. I got out my phone to start recording this because I didn't think that was an appropriate response to what I had said. Which I had said calmly, keep in mind I was very "out of it" due to the med combination I was on. The second officer there warned the first officer who had just threatened me that I was now recording so he changed his answer to sound less violent. I repeated again, calmly, that I did not feel safe to drive. They kept on harassing me telling me I had to leave because I was "trespassing" and discharged. Eventually I became agitated because, I wasn't in my right mind, and started to yell at them as they forced me out of there but I could hardly walk and had to stop at least once to get my balance the whole time the police are harassing me to leave. In the end I was forced to leave, by car, not in any condition to drive because of these two officers and the doctors apparently not giving a crap that the medication combination they had given me was dangerous to drive under. How is this legal? Why is this legal? This hospital is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

i came here with the worst chest and stomach pain. the nurses are so rude and are only there for the money.i waited 7 hours for someone to come check on me. they barley communicate with you and they will try to send you home with a bullshit diagnosis just so you can get out of there. please do not come here i promise you that there are much better hospitals in this same area.

I took my son there around 2:00am with back and chest pain. The nurses and the doctor had the best bedside manners that i've seen in a looonnnggg time. When you're sick and hurting you don't have time to focus in on how folks are dressed, nor how clean the place is. You just want someone who can help to save your life. They were good with their diagnosis and they're compassion!

I was here on August 25 Monday afternoon afternoon was not so noisy but the night shift was so noisy. I was by the door nurses station and could not sleep a wink and I don't know what kind of customer service y'all have at you quit emergency. But they're very loud And I got so upset about the noise. Even the doctor and it was two RN noses. It was sad that I could not sleep asked for something to sleep earlier. Had heard everyone loud conversation, even the housekeeper that Doctor and the two charge nurses it was sad that I had to constantly push or not constantly push my light and ask them who was the patient under they know how loud they are and I couldn't sleep. I asked for sleeping And the doctor told me well since this morning I said I've been seeing you talk since you came on and you weren't even the nurse one when I got here so you are so big that it's daytime I shouldn't have something to sleep and I finally got something around area. Drs and staff were very kind. They did best they could every visit and I appreciate that as I struggle every day for years. My situation was difficult to diagnose I found out. Thank you everyone who helped me I appreciate you all very much.
