Mount Carmel Dublin Emergency Room

This is the nicest emergency room I have ever been to. From the nice security guard at the front, to the front desk attendants, to the nurses both bedside and tele, to the doctors. Everyone was fantastic. The facility is brand new and state of the art. If you are wondering if you will get a pleasant experience here, my guess would be 100% yes!

I can't say enough how grateful I am to the emergency department staff. I brought my elderly mother-in-law in for an unexpected episode of dizziness. Many might have brushed it off and sent her home, but Dr. Julie and the nursing staff were truly exceptional. Dr. Julie spoke directly to her -- not to me, as so many others might -- and she took the time to listen, understand, and make her feel genuinely seen and heard. That meant the world to us. Thank you, Dr. Julie and the entire team, for your compassion, respect, and care. You made my mother-in-law feel valued, and we are deeply grateful.

This was my first hospital visit in my life, and I'm very grateful it was at Mount Carmel Dublin. The doctor and staff saw me immediately with no wait time at all, which made a scary situation much less stressful. Every staff member I interacted with was exceptionally friendly, caring, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and that my needs were met. I also appreciated how clearly everything was explained to me throughout my treatment.

10/10 best hospital I have ever been to. The staff are so nice and everyone listens and actually cares. I had an awful experience at a cvs minute clinic an hour prior (where I tried to go first) with my tonsils swollen to the point that I had issues breathing and swallowing where they told me to just take ibuprofen and tough it out. But I then decided to come to this hospital because I knew somethings wasn't right. I've had tonsillitis so many times and I had always been taken seriously and medicated. They got me in instantly, took care of my issues and validated my pain. Not being able to breathe and swallow is scary but and I felt safe at this hospital. Strongly recommend, their staff is the best!

August 2025 - Had a great experience here! Waited at another local hospital for over 2 hours without even being seen, and chose to switch here cause I was told there was little to no activity in their waiting room. I was immediately checked in, brought to a room and had a doctor doing an evaluation within 5 minutes of arriving. The staff was attentive, listened and made a proactive plan to treat. From arrival till discharge (including evaluation, 2 scans, treatment and meds in hand) was less than an hour. Great addition to the local area!
