January 16, 2025, I suffered a very serious heart attack (100% blocked artery, aka widowmaker) and cardiac arrest. It happened after pushing and shoveling the snow in my driveway. Flat lined twice and brought back after defib. My prognosis is good and I am recovering now and doing okay.. I got home on temporarily wearing a life vest for 3 months. It was my left coronary artery that supplies 60% to 70% of blood flow (I am also left handed) that was blocked and stented. I am able to tell you All of this because of Dr. Sharma. Quite simply, he, with God's guidance, gave me a second chance at life. I was told by some in the profession that a number of cardiac surgeons would not have attempted to do the emergency heart catherization due to the blockage but I would have never made it for open heart surgery. He made the decision to see if he could save my life and HE DID! I will forever be grateful that God placed me in Dr. Sharma's care. Btw, the entire team of Fairview Park, Ohio paramedics/fireman and Fairview Park Hospital emergency room and surgical room truly worked as a team and were all instrumental in saving my life. Lastly, don't forget EVERYDAY, Give your loved ones big hugs and kisses because tomorrow is not promised. Btw, I don't smoke, don't drink, except occasionally and good results on my annual physicals each year for the past 20 years (no cholesterol medicine or high blood pressure), I walk about 2.5 to 3 miles each day and occasionally run ---- DIDNT MATER!

My wife went to Fairview Hospital for constant severe chest pain and left arm going numb. Before she was discharged she was told she had to make a appointment with Cardiologist specifically this Dr Navneet Sharma. She has had over 40 episodes in the last 4 weeks waiting for appointment to see this Dr Sharma. Her appointment was finally for this Thursday the 20th. We'll today 2 days before his office called and canceled, said he has something else to do. And would not be seeing my wife for what Fairview Hospital said she should be seeing him for. Imagine a elephant pressing on your heart and your left arm goes numb over 40 times since she admitted herself to Fairview Hospital on 5-22-24. His excuse for not seeing her is a joke to his reviews of him being professional. Still dealing with severe chest pains and this so called professional Dr cancels 2 days before a appointment we have waited 4 weeks for? For my wife I don't want a call from some office worker. Let this joker call himself. Now we are left to scramble for another Cardiologist who actually is professional. One of the poorest forms of avoiding seeing a patient who was referred by the company you work for.. Wonder who else dropped the ball besides SHARMA. What a shame.

Dr.Shatma is an incredible doctor. I was diagnosed with a massive blood clot in my lung and Dr.Sharma was compassionate, understanding and explained everything thoroughly. He has the best bedside manner I've ever witnessed. He was able to remove most of the clot and getting back to better health!! I highly recommend him.
