Very first time I went to Cleveland Clinic, I'm amazed of Cleveland clinic's building and architecture, and various artwork displayed inside of their buildings. Great perks for employees and public is having Starbucks and Panera bread inside, convenient location serving food and beverages. Cleveland clinic has a beautiful landscape and artwork! Amazing ! I always recommend Cleveland Clinic to anyone. Cleveland clinic is rated #1 in the nation, one of Great hospital systems in US. They work very hard and use the latest evidence-based findings implement into their clinical practice to make difference and improve both, the patient lives and patient care outcomes.

I never leave reviews on anything, but I think this warranted. First off, my mom's surgeon, Dr. Smeida did an AMAZING job with her open heart procedure replacing her mitral valve that was pretty much destroyed. He communicated with us after the procedure, told us she would be moving to the ICU and went great. The building is beautiful and everyone was very kind and helpful. Anthony in the ICU was great and took great care of her. She was making great progress and was moved to her "step down" room after a day and half. Here's where the 1 star comes from. She was moved to the 6th floor. When I went to see her I thought I walked into a different hospital. This floor looks like a psych unit, the beds are something I wouldn't put a dog on. There is NO paintings, color on any walls, and is DIRTY! This is somewhere you put people after such a major procedure? The equipment is out dated, the staff look like they just graduated high school, and the pain meds of choice they put her on was an opioid that's used for cancer/hospice patients. She couldn't even function. They took out her catheter when she got to the twilight zone floor, which is typical, but you can't take that out when you are giving someone OXY's. She couldn't get up to pee! She didn't even know where she was. So they to reinsert the catheter. And ordering "food" for her? It took me 2hrs and 20 min on hold everytime I tried to call the day I was there. I finally gave up and had to tell a person at the desk before I left, my mom needs dinner ordered. Which idk why, not like she can eat anything. I can go on and on. I'm just so confused about this floor!! In no way does this look like a part of the amazing hospital that Cleveland Clinic is. It honestly was like she was in some county hospital who had no money. You have this beautiful building everywhere we went except this dungeon floor you put people in to "rehabilitate?" We couldn't wait to get her out of there. She's been home for 4 days now and doing so much better than the care and environment that was provided there. At least on that floor. Still mind blown.

Loved our visit to the Cleveland Clinic Heart and Vascular center. Each employee took care of my wife like she was their relative. It was perfect. Such an amazing experience. Such a wonderful Healthcare institution
