Patient Reviews

Patient

I had during my recent visit to Urgent Care. When I arrived, an assistant asked me several questions and said that a specialist would join shortly. A few minutes later, Dr. Eisen entered the room without greeting me or introducing himself. His first words were, "Am I in the right room?" -- which made me uncomfortable. He then commented on my age, saying that he was expecting a 19-year-old patient and that no one in the room appeared that age. This was inappropriate and unprofessional. The assistant remained silent throughout the interaction. After realizing there had been a mix-up with my information, Dr. Eisen finally asked about my concern. However, during the conversation, I felt as though I was being interrogated rather than helped. His tone was condescending and dismissive, which made me feel disrespected as a patient.

I'm giving him one star because it won't allow me to leave zeros stars. My dad was a patient of Dr Eisen for years. My dad was in a lot of pain and kept pushing for answers. Even paying for outside testing to try to figure out what was wrong. All Dr Eisen did was continue to prescribe Percocet for years. Dr Eisen told him it's just arthritis, even though the tests and the arthritis doctor said it wasn't. My dad was taken to Southwest hospital and within 2 hours was told he had stage 4 lung cancer. He passed 2 months later. Had it been diagnosed earlier, his cancer would have been treatable.
