When did patience with patients go out the window? Dr. Debs was doing rounds this morning at Southwest Hospital and my elderly mom asked him if he could give her a quick second so she could call me for a second set of ears. Please don't answer your patients with "I don't have time for that". If this is your bedside manner, I hope my mom never has to interact with you ever again. The ability to take perspective should not be this deficient in a medical professional who has chosen to "help" people. She's paying you for your help, so there's that also. Do better.
