Dr. Hegde has been my heart Dr for 4+ years. He is knowledgeable, by the book and thorough. I appreciate his straight talk. He gives you all the facts so you can make your health decisions. Only concern is getting appointments. He is stretched to thin as most Drs are in today's health care industry.
I moved here from Columbus and was concerned about finding a new cardiologist after 5 years with mine. Dr. Hedge was great. He put me at ease immediately. He was friendly and thorough. He reviewed my info, asked me questions, answered mine and let me know what my plan of care will be moving forward. I would recommend him to anyone. I have no idea why he has a couple of negative comments.
Has no respect for his patients on any level and refuses to accept the patient's right to manage their own health concerns, Snarky, condescending and refuses to communicate and cooperate with physicians in other specialties to enable a positive outcome for the patient. Excessively pushes invasive testing and procedures when there are no medical indicators that such measures are required. Fancies himself an "expert" in the field of cardiology testing and generally views his patients as little more than test subjects. Obviously, Cleveland Clinic Akron General needs to reconsider their physician oversight practices and examine the percentage of Dr. Hegde's patients that are coerced into excessive testing.
Wish I could review his bedside manner but he never showed up. Took over 5 hours to read a stress test. Either extremely slow or incompetent. Obviously has no idea on order of intake. Had some presenting same symptoms in my unit get get his test read first and had his test later than I did. Only difference was he had no history of heart disease and I did.
I love Dr. Vinayak Hegde! He gave me instructions on how to live with my heart failure and I follow these instructions specifically in detail from 2015. I take my medicine and I get my water intake but most of all relieved my life of stress. Thank you Dr. Hegde I appreciate you very much
