The kind of care we have become accustomed to is repulsive. Truly disgusting. It's a business to make as much money as possible. And it's lucrative. My husband was in need of emergent care. Established patient for a long time. Went to er over weekend, needed to follow up to continue necessary care to resolve heart issue, refused to do anything for him. The no longer accept our insurance. So. Not their problem. Move along so they can give subpar care to patients they didn't cancel insurance contracts with. Our health and care is dictated by insurance and the offices who get the most money out of the contracts. And they hope we're as calloused to that fact as they are to our care
