I was there from five days starting Friday night. was admitted and in that five days one of the employees stole all the money out of my purse. Here's a warning to anybody if you're going to the hospital get rid of all your cash before you go, it was a lot of money just before Christmas time. Themmmmm Apparently, I'm not the only one. Within what seems like a weeks time another patient and an employee got money stolen too so it's an issue. They need to solve and quick. Besides that the nursing staff was great. The doctors were good. The food staff with the exception of one person with a bad attitude, was good. Me loss of the money really brought down their rating a lot. It's my Christmas time too. Karma is alive and well, and I hope it hits that one employee that stole that money

I recently had an appointment with them on December 3rd at 1:45pm in the Maternal fedal Medicine department. When I walked in the secretary was very rude she acted like I didn't know when my appointment was and tried to tell me it was at 2pm when my my chart said it was at 1:45pm. Then I go to get my ultrasound done and I had been told before this appointment that I wasn't going to get the belly ultrasound done because they couldn't see my baby before with that one. The nurse or ultrasound specialist asks to take the ultrasound with a full bladder. I say no because I don't want to urinate myself. I then tell her before she proceeds with the ultrasound that they weren't able to see the baby last time and I was promised the other type of ultrasound. And I also tell her I have never heard of having to hold my bladder for an ultrasound before. She goes well it was too early before and I've worked here for 35 years and I think I know what I'm doing. And then proceeded to tell me that if the images show up bad it's because I went to the bathroom beforehand. The ultrasound pictures were terrible and blurry and I came all the way there to see my baby. Then I check out and explain to the secretary the secretary makes up some excuse that the other ultrasound would hurt the baby when I've been 8 weeks pregnant before done the other ultrasound and everything was fine. So she supposedly put on my list to have the other ultrasound done and slams the glass door after she is done with me. Then I go to complain about the visit and they don't answer the phone at all. So yeah I'm leaving you a bad review because you not only were rude to me, lied to me, gave me shitty ultrasound pictures, and acted like you knew how to do your job when you clearly didn't even know how to treat people but your not even answering the phone because you know you messed up.

My friend had an absolutely terrible and traumatic experience at this hospital after being in a car accident. She was terrified she's always had anxiety going to hospitals and a severe fear of needles but instead of treating her with compassion or patience the nurses held her down with around seven people just to force an IV. My friend has severe trauma and she only got loud after being held down and touched by multiple people which is completely understandable given what she's been through. Rather than trying to calm or comfort her, the staff labeled her "aggressive" and sent her to a mental facility. She was never violent or threatening toward herself or anyone else. She simply tried to refuse a medication she wasn't told the name of and they gave it to her anyway, against her will. At one point another nurse even said "just do it" before proceeding to stick her with a shot. Later the doctor lied to her boyfriend claiming they never gave her that medication. When confronted the doctor admitted they "had to do what they had to do" and took a "different approach" after she refused it. This is extremely alarming. Patients have the right to know what medication is being given to them before it's administered. She could have been allergic it could have been life-threatening. To make things worse she pressed her nurse call light several times and nobody came to check on her. She could have been in distress or danger, and no one cared enough to even look at her chart. The hospital also failed to give any medical updates to her boyfriend, even though she had legally signed documents granting him full permission to receive information about her care. The fact that she was denied proper medical treatment after a car crash and sent straight to a psychiatric ward instead is horrifying. This entire situation shows a complete lack of compassion honesty and respect for patient rights. You people have no compassion for those who just went through something terrifying and traumatic. I don't understand why some people get their medical degrees just to abuse their power.
I truly hope this hospital takes accountability and that the staff involved and anyone who treated her the way they did get the karma they deserve for their actions. Please do not go to this hospital If you can help it

Came to this emergency room having an TRUE EMERGENCY.... I took an antibiotic that i was having an allergic reaction to. My throat definitely swelled to where my voice didn't sound like it should and I would weeze when I breathed. After 3 hours of waiting in the waiting room with NO ONE checking on me or my vitals i am writing this. Thank the lord my throat retracted and didn't get worse. My blood pressure was high for me, I am still having chest pain and I am so disoriented it's not even funny. I've brought this concern to nursing staff twice and they keep giving false promises. Say "u are the next room" and then 5 more people who were there when they said that go back. Or just a few more minutes and another hour goes by. For being a "high quality" hopsital they sure don't treat it like an emergency room. Ive watched 3 rolms get emptied and clean and sit with no one in them for over an hour. Other patients have been waiting for 15 hours... yes u read that right. I hope I NEVER have to come back here. I literally thought i was gonna pass out from not breathing right do to my throat closing and they have yet to even re evaluate me. This is a doctors office not an emergency room. The location on Allen road is the best so far, they are very attentive. came here because they can do more testing and thought they would take me seriously with my voice not sounding right. I guess if u might truly die this isn't the place to come.

I brought my sister there for a same day surgery last week. The surgical waiting room is absolutely disgusting! It is dirty, tired, and way overdue for a deep cleaning and or overhaul. I'm sure it was a great test of my immune system!
