Daniel S. O'Connor, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, Co-director of the Center for CardioOncology, Cardiologist for the Aortic Program and Cardiac Intensivist at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. Dr O'connor is by far, the absolute best doctor in the world! He has a unique combination of knowledge, bedside manner, personality, being supportive, being personable, and embodies everything a world class doctor should be. I trust him with my life! He sits down with you each visit to go over all your numbers and listens to what's going on in your life. Factors that could influence test results that most doctors overlook. This of course puts the visit into a more personal level, that again, most doctors do not take into consideration. Then his checkups are thorough and consistent each time. If a bloodwork panel is due, he sends right downstairs to get them done. Nothing is ever taken for granted, the best part of the visit is his genuine excitement over positive results and scores! This is what makes him a very special doctor!! Besides being brilliant! Oh, and his staff are the sweetest and most caring group of women there is! If it was just his reputation and results to base this on, it is still the doctor to see. But add in all the other intangibles and this makes a rock star of cardiology!
