Dr Carin Smith is one of the two best cardiologists I've ever had (Dr Paul Payne being the other one ). I feel secure in her care of me... she is professional, caring, and knowledgeable. The worst front desk medical personnel I have ever had to deal with. They lady tells that you said thing and did another when you don't. She screws up and tries to blame the patients. Cancels your appointments when you ask if they have anything else available. Don't cancel until I say cancel. She was even rude to me and my wife the day we were there back on November the 11. She is very rude and lies as well. She has no business dealing with medical patients especially heart patients. It's a shame because I liked Doctor Janik but his front desk help will keep me from going back there. I hope doctors Janik can find a better front desk help. After 10 years of going there I will be seeking another heart doctor all because of this rude lady at the front desk.

I was there for a routine visit. When I saw the doctor I presented with AFib. Dr Smith and her staff did everything they could to bring my rhythm under control but could not. I then went downstairs to urgent care and they stared a pic line and gave me the medication Dr. Smith prescribed. They took couldn't bring my heart out of A Fib. Everyone was very caring, understanding and professional. I couldn't have asked for better care.

Gentleman checking me in the Cardiology Department was great. Made me feel welcome. Lady that took me to the room to wait for the Doctor and did the EKG was efficient, but had lost her personality somewhere! If she introduced herself, I missed it. Treated me like a prisoner being checked into prison. Not a pleasant experience! I think her name was Betty, at least that name was on the EKG equipment. Dr Greg Roberts was cordial and efficient. Seemed as though he had maybe reviewed my history before entering the room. Typed on his computer keyboard the entire time other than when he listened to my heart. I felt as though he didn't want me to talk or show him any of my medical history that I brought with me. I asked him if this was true and he said no. He did answer my questions, but still gave me the impression I was taking him away from his encounter note taking. This was very fast paced, and I hardly had time to think. He did ask me several times if I had any additional questions, which I appreciated. I left feeling comfortable and confident in his findings/recommendations and that he was quite proficient in his specialty. I guess I just need to get used to "Dr Wilson" is a thing of the past, and 30 minutes is beyond my allotment.
