I like him and felt comfortable and not rushed. He took time with me and let me explain my situation. He also appeared to have done some research on me before hand since I was a first time patient and from a different provider.

I always enjoyed science class in middle and high school and was fascinated by the multitudes of complex processes that allow the human body to function. I also enjoy being of service to others - something that led me to help plan and lead a medical service trip to Ensenada, Mexico, when I was in college. Very professional, excellent bedside manner. I first met Dr. Vandermolen as a patient at NOVANT NHRMC, and I was pleased with the care I received then, and I am still pleased and grateful with the time care and resources he is using in my continued treatment. In my layperson's view my particular symptoms are a mixed bag, and he is neither frustrated nor arrogant. He is patient, thoughtful, thorough, wise and has no problem educating me about my conditions as we work towards resolution. I could not have asked for a better Doctor. I always have to give credit where credit is due, but don't you all make it that he is so busy I can't even get an appointment to see my Dr.

Another 5 physician in the Novant network. Dr. V, as I call him, is caring, empathetic and very knowledgeable about everything related to your heart and vascular system. Don't let his young age fool you. I had some problems no one could figure out and with the tests he ran, he got to the bottom of it. He's a doll baby I want to kiss his cute bald head every time I see him lol!
