I'm a native of Columbus, Georgia and a Yale University alumnus. I went to Duke University for medical school and remained in Durham for my internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship. I finished my training in 2005. \n In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, boating and spending time outdoors with my wife and two children. Living in Wilmington gives us so many opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors, and we take full advantage of our location on the beautiful coast.

I'm confident with the care my husband receives from Dr. Meine. In 30 years trying to get his blood pressure under control, two strokes later Dr. Meine added one little pill that had never been tried. Within 2 doses my husband's blood pressure is consistently stable. I'm grateful for his knowledge and his humble spirit when we shared this with him personally. We highly recommend his care.
He was late to the appointment. More interested in my hearing health than my heart/lungs, at least it appeared this way. Waited for the doctor longer than his visit with me. He ordered an echocardiogram and not sure why I was guided to do this AFTER the visit. It seems if results old be discussed during the visit it would have saved time and been a more effective visit.
My latest visit with Dr. Meine was a very pleasant one. He's one of few doctors that I've had over my lifetime to actually listen to you. As a cardiologist, I feel his expertise is exceptional.
My visit was short and sweet. Not much info was shared. I am not confident that my charts and labs are being shared by Wilmington Health, Dr Brian Webster, and Novant, Dr Meine. Seems to be a vital and important thing to be shared.
Always well taken care of by Dr. Meine. He is very thorough. He explains everything fully and clearly and will take the time to answer any questions.
